When you write books, or blog, you get to meet the most wonderful and talented people. When I first started blogging, it was to connect to other writers. It can be a little scary sending your dreams and ideas out into the cyber universe…there are some scary people out there. Luckily, I have only connected to beautiful souls with beautiful stories to tell. One of these beautiful souls is writer, John Brito. John is from Austria, but that hasn’t stopped us from supporting each other over the years. I am so delighted to talk to him about his new book, Below the Floor. Continue reading

I had not read Denfeld’s first novel, The Enchanted, but I will be doing this very soon. I’d been given a gift certificate to an independently owned bookshop, and I stopped in to pick out the latest tell-all book on trump. Luckily, my love of mysteries took hold, and I picked up a crime novel about a missing child. Will The Child Finder find a special place on my book shelf? Continue reading

36379007_10214517310919196_6835334348711919616_nI’ve written four science fiction books already. They are part of my Roof Oasis Series. The fifth book was different. It was a project of love, and it was the hardest book to write. This past Saturday was my book launch for the much awaited, Life with Fred and Lucy: Growing up in South Philly. This book is a humorous memoir of growing up in my parents’ grocery story during the early 1950’s and 60’s. It is also a tribute to the two ghosts that hang out in my attic. Here is an interview with Elsie Kerns. Continue reading

I’ve know Jack Flacco for several years, and I’ve even interviewed him for my Gilbert Curiosities Blog. We are authors. We both loved writing about zombies, but recently, we’ve journeyed from the domain of the apocalypse and into the spiritual realm. Where I use my psychic/medium gifts to lead people back to GOD, Jack is using his blogs, his ministry and his latest book to reconnect to a loving Creator. Join me now as I ask Jack about his new book, When Forgiveness is Enough: Making Sense of God’s Calling. Continue reading

I meet the most talented people at events, and this takes place with many of my encounters into the writing and metaphysical world. Sometimes, the universe interweaves the two worlds together and magic happens. I was recently at the Mount Holly Horror Writers’ Conference where I was fortunate to be on the same panel as D.L. Cocchio. It seems we have many similar passions: writing, tarot cards, and ghosts. Continue reading
